Mysterious ancient graffiti may reveal the location of a lost temple at Athens’ Acropolis

The authors of the paper said that while there is no reference to the Acropolis other than the engraving itself in the find, there always remains some uncertainty about the origin of the building. The researchers believe that the drawing itself, in turn, points to the Acropolis, as evidenced by the evidence at their disposal.
