Denmark has banned the use of “everlasting chemicals” in clothes and shoes

Denmark plans to ban PFAS clothing from 1 July 2026, giving companies a “transition period” from 25 April. The measure will apply to both imported and Danish clothing, but will not affect “professional” or “protective clothing”.
